Randomness, Based on Average Human Thoughts

by M. J. Joachim

It’s President’s Day here in the United States. As much as I’m a die-hard patriot, I’m not feeling overly celebratory, especially after listening to last week’s State of the Union Address.

Facebook is driving me absolutely crazy! What’s with all the glitches? How come it takes so long to load a page? Why do I feel like I’ve been transported back to the days of high school, with its popularity cliques again? Who decided it was a place to save all the animals, bash all the politicians and complain about everyone else’s posts anyway? I suppose a dislike button would work, but then again, so would practicing your manners!

We all know what opinions are like, which is why so many of them should be left unsaid.

Just because you don’t want to build a sand castle, doesn’t mean you can’t play in the sand. Throwing sand, however, is strictly forbidden and will remain so, until the end of time!

The smaller you make your world, the less likely you are to enjoy the fresh air. Oh sure, there will be random episodes of stench coming through from time to time – short-lived and enough to make you appreciate what you have, regardless of seasonal weather patterns occurring throughout your life. Open the windows already! Or better yet, step outside!

Happy Monday, good people!

Thank you for visiting Effectively Human.

Until next time, I wish you every good thing,

M. J.
