Ultrasound

by M. J. Joachim

It is my contention that if every woman considering abortion, had an ultrasound of their unborn baby prior to getting her abortion, millions of lives could be saved. Pictures speak a thousand words. Babies grow hidden in the womb. Society is callous, defining unborn children as tissue – well, technically we’re all just big globs of tissue, when you think about it. That doesn’t make us any less human, any less alive, any easier to discard on the false pretense that our tissue doesn’t matter and isn’t valuable.

Oh, but fetal tissue is valuable, isn’t it? Scientists use it for stem cell research and other projects. God only knows what they do with it in China. Rumor has it some of the aborted babies actually get eaten there. The United States has actually proposed legislation to prevent such atrocities and outlaw the use of aborted human fetuses in their food. To that end, several U.S. companies ban the practice. (Take that last link with a grain of salt, please. Lack of response to a survey does not qualify as a “maybe” in my book. The executives may have been so appalled by the question that they simply refused to answer it, after all. Still, the article is interesting.)

What you don’t know CAN hurt you, especially when it comes to aborting babies in this world. My mind wanders…

Did people suspect Hitler of his mass destruction and ultimate plan to annihilate the Jews? Did anyone seem literally nuts for suspecting him of some of the most outrageous crimes – unthinkable human rights violations only to find out they couldn’t have imagined it was so much worse than they could ever have believed?

Human experimentation and research deserves a closer look when it comes to the topic of abortion. Pandora’s proverbial box is laden with terror and scientists gone astray. Untold and countless horror stories reveal the ultimate destruction of man, morals and justice. Who’s to say aborted fetuses don’t influence the madness in some way?

We are not laboratory rats destined to lose our identity at the hands of mad men. Our unborn children are not globs of tissue with no meaning or status in society.

Ultrasounds of unborn babies have proven this for years, while politics has played both sides of the fence.

Ultrasound, pictures of our unborn children before the decision to kill them actually gets made can make the difference, and millions of lives might be saved.

Thank you for visiting Effectively Human.
