Letters to Self: Beoming the Xenagogue with Xenial Qualities

Letters to Self is a Self-help series written by M. J. Joachim, designed to encourage and promote healing and self-awareness for those who read it.

Dear Self,

It’s up to you to be a xenagogue for others in this world. People are easily drawn in by your genuine xenial qualities, and your xenodochial mannerisms in general. You do share great charity, hospitality and concern for others. It’s important to remember that you can’t share or give these gifts to others, guiding them truthfully, if you don’t give them to yourself first. No one can give what he does not have in his possession.

Be xenial toward yourself, that you might be a xenagogue for others. In doing so, you will spread charity and kindness throughout the world, modeling the virtues of hope and love, while giving them out freely to yourself and others.

I’m so happy to be on this journey with you.
