Letters to Self is a Self-help series written by M. J. Joachim, designed to encourage and promote healing and self-awareness for those who read it.

Dear Self,

Daydreaming and dreams are important elements of being human. They allow us to look beyond ourselves. Daydreams help us tap into our hopes, ideas, thoughts for a better future. Dreams help us sort out the stuff that might be holding us back.

When you find yourself daydreaming, engage in the moment, feel the energy and immerse yourself in the beauty of it all. When you dream, be open to all your dreams have to teach you about yourself. Dreams are one way of conquering fear, and fear has the power to stop you in your tracks. Don’t let it.
