Children’s Program Review: The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot about That

by M. J. Joachim

Wrapped up in an entertaining and fun Dr. Seuss rhyming scenario, this program provides an exciting educational program for kids of all ages, but particularly for very young children. Consistency is a big part of the program, in which individual episodes focus on positive social behavior, having fun and exploring our world through creative detailed lessons about nature. Each episode incorporates other important life lessons, often taught through the activities taking place in the nature scene.

Learning about ants has never been so much fun! And building a bird’s nest? Children might easily get excited about the prospect of making their own, or at least looking for nests up in trees in their neighborhoods. Thoughtful seeds are planted, opening up a world of learning possibilities for children who watch The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot about That.

Have you seen this show? Do you let your children watch it? Do your children enjoy this show and get excited about what they learn from it?

I hope you enjoyed this children’s programming review today. Thanks so much for stopping by,

M. J.
